The Cuel di Lanis represents one of the last and most prominent eastern elevations of the long Chiampon ridge. Its isolated position, suspended above the Valle del Torre, and the rugged, wild environment that surrounds it, make it anything but a 'minor peak'. Its slopes, covered with fascinating forests, rise steeply towards the sky, finally leaving only rock and grass. Together, these elements shape an exceptional panoramic pulpit overlooking the Julian Pre-Alps, the Friulian plain and the Carnic Pre-Alps.
