In the harsh tranquillity of the Friulian Dolomites Natural Park, I will accompany you around the village of Andreis to learn about some local geological aspects linked to the so-called Periadriatic Fault, which, crossing the whole of Friuli from east to west, determines the overthrusting of rock strata, thus varying their natural sequence. A revisited itinerary allows us to add other elements of historical and scenic interest. We cover about 10 kilometres in a succession of ups and downs, as well as a short stretch on the riverbed, for a total of 400 metres in height difference, making the outing suitable for anyone with a minimum of preparation. Although the itinerary is at medium-low altitudes, it allows you to fully enjoy the wild beauty of the Friulian Dolomites.
