Beautiful fir woods will accompany us on our way to the plateau, while the snow crunches under our snowshoes, until we reach the plateau itself, where the majestic Julian Alps frame this splendid place, appearing almost like a painting all around us. Here we can admire the explosion of colours at sunset; in ideal weather conditions, you can even see the distant Dolomites contrasting with the fiery red of dusk. As night falls, the stars in the January sky will seem so low and bright that you will feel you can touch them.
