La famosa Grotta Nuova di Villanova precede solo di fama lo spettacolare Abisso Vigant con il suo maestoso ingresso alto circa 15 metri. La lunghezza totale di questa grotta \u00e8 di 1450 metri, ma, dopo i primi quaranta metri, \u00e8 percorribile solo da speleologi ed \u00e8 per questo meno conosciuta dai turisti. La visita vale comunque la pena; una passerella conduce all&#8217;interno dell&#8217;antro, che \u00e8 possibile ammirare fino ad una marmitta dei giganti,\u00a0una vasca naturale scavata dall\u2019acqua, dopo la quale\u00a0inizia la discesa speleologica.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-35288b10 L&#8217;esplorazione del pozzo e del successivo sviluppo della grotta richiedono capacit\u00e0 e tecnica, e sono riservate ad esperti speleologi.<\/p><h5>PROFONDIT\u00c0 E LUNGHEZZA<\/h5><p>L&#8217;abisso Vigant \u00e8 una grotta ad estensione verticale e il suo pozzo sprofonda per 252 metri. A quota fondo, la grotta si sviluppa ulteriormente per una lunghezza totale di 1450 metri.<\/p><h5>IL TORRENTE CHE ENTRA NELLA GROTTA<\/h5><p>Il rio Tanaloho si addentra nella grotta insieme allo speleologo e lo accompagna lungo tutta la sua esplorazione, poich\u00e9 il suo corso copre l&#8217;intero sviluppo della grotta fino a smaltirsi nella sottostante Grotta Pre-Oreak.<\/p><h5>LA STORIA DELLE ESPLORAZIONI<\/h5><p>La storia dell&#8217;esplorazione di una grotta \u00e8 sempre molto lunga perch\u00e9 procede a pi\u00f9 riprese tramite esplorazioni sempre pi\u00f9 profonde e grazie ai progressi tecnologici di attrezzature e strumentazioni. borgo, in un&#8217;area attrezzata con un tavolo da picnic. Qui si trova anche il cartello esplicativo sul percorso e sugli aspetti geologici della zona. Il primo tratto \u00e8 in discesa e segue l\u2019antica stradina comunale lastricata in pietra. Successivamente la strada&nbsp; diventa un sentiero e, attraversando un ponticello di legno, raggiunge la grotta. Il percorso \u00e8 breve e facile, in mezzo alla natura. <br>La zona carsica fa parte dell&#8217;area della Forra del torrente Cornappo e presenta una vegetazione e una fauna tipiche. Arrivati a quest&#8217;ultima, si pu\u00f2 parcheggiare e continuare a piedi per 20\/30 min fino a Borgo Vigant, per poi imboccare il sentiero per l&#8217;Abisso.
