Il particolare mercato dei birrifici, nato a Resiutta grazie alle speciali caratteristiche\u00a0 di mineralizzazione delle acque del Torrente Resia, necessitava, per la produzione e conservazione della birra, di luoghi freschi e ben areati. Risale alla seconda met\u00e0 del 1800 la creazione di questa galleria artificiale con funzione di cantina ghiacciaia.<\/p><p>La galleria rimane a testimonianza di questa usanza ed \u00e8 visitabile dal 2014, grazie ad un finanziamento dell\u2019Unione Europea. All&#8217;interno, la sua storia e la storia della produzione della birra sono illustrate da pannelli espositivi e dalla proiezione di un documentario storico sulla A questo fine, venne scavata la galleria di Resiutta, studiata per consentire al ghiaccio una lunga conservazione e per ottenere una buona aerazione e circolazione d&#8217;aria; oltre a ci\u00f2, un camino posto vicino all&#8217;ingresso permetteva all&#8217;umidit\u00e0 di evaporare.<br \/>Nel 1881 Francesco Dormisch rilev\u00f2 il birrificio e la galleria e cre\u00f2 il famoso marchio di birra,
