Del Castello oggi rimangono le mura, il fossato e le torri portaie, che racchiudono un piccolo borgo di rara bellezza, eletto tra i Borghi pi\u00f9 belli d&#8217;Italia. All&#8217;interno del borgo si trova il Palazzo Freschi-Piccolomini, visitabile in occasione di eventi, con il suo stupendo parco. Ogni anno, a Cordovado si svolge la famosa Rievocazione medievale in cui si vedono i rioni sfidarsi per un ambito trofeo.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div Il borgo fortificato \u00e8 racchiuso da un circuito murario ed \u00e8 protetto da un ampio fossato tutt&#8217;ora esistente. Le mura sono ben conservate, cos\u00ec come la torre millenaria dell&#8217;orologio. Gli edifici sono costruiti in pietra antica e risalgono ad epoche diverse.<\/p><p>All&#8217;interno del borgo, tra le tante architetture storiche, si trovano una chiesetta del XIV secolo, il palazzo Agricola del XV secolo, il santuario di architettura barocca della Madonna delle Grazie di inizio del XVII secolo, la pieve di sant&#8217;Andrea risalente al XV secolo, la villa Freschi-Piccolomini del XVII secolo e il parco romantico degli inizi del XIX. Cordovado \u00e8 uno dei <em>Borghi pi\u00f9 belli d&#8217;Italia<\/em> dal 2004 e ogni anno a fine agosto vi ha luogo una rievocazione storica molto visitabile tramite prenotazione o in occasione di eventi. L&#8217;interno \u00e8 affascinante con le sontuose vetrate e gli affreschi, i camini e le stufe in maiolica che decorano ogni stanza, l&#8217;arredamento antico e i dipinti, tra i quali spicca il quadro rappresentante l&#8217;albero genealogico della famiglia. Vi si possono visitare anche la biblioteca e la sala della musica, nella quale il pavimento, realizzato con il legno destinato alla produzione di violini, ha la caratteristica di essere a cassa di risonanza.\u00a0<br \/>Il parco che circonda la villa risale al 1800, \u00e8 un luogo poetico, ricchissimo di piante da fiore e di alberi ad alto fusto, anche secolari. Nel parco si trova un magico labirinto di rose damascene, creato di recente, immancabile da visitare nelle due giornate della\u00a0<em>Festa delle Rose<\/em>, che si tiene a maggio a
