Doberd\u00f2 del Lago, in provincia di Gorizia, si trova la riserva naturale dei Laghi di Doberd\u00f2 e Pietrarossa. La riserva \u00e8 una nicchia ecologica unica, in cui si alternano ambienti aridi, come lande e boscaglie, ambienti umidi, quali praterie e canneti, e elementi carsici, con fenomeni di carsismo di superficie e grotte. In questo contesto incontaminato si trova il &#8220;Lago che appare e scompare&#8221;, il lago di Doberd\u00f2, che, assieme al vicino lago di Pietrarossa, rappresenta l&#8217;unico lago carsico in Friuli Venezia Giulia. L&#8217;appellativo del lago deriva dal fatto che il suo volume d&#8217;acqua dipende dai fenomeni carsici; di conseguenza \u00e8 solito essere pieno in primavera e in autunno, prosciugato in estate e Lungo il percorso si incontrano diversi siti di interesse storico, come i resti dell\u2019antico Castelliere di Castellazzo e la Casa Cadorna, sede di un osservatorio italiano durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale. rispetto di questo ambiente inalterato, la Riserva Naturale dei Laghi di Doberd\u00f2 e Pietrarossa. La superficie di 627 ettari delimita una nicchia ecologica unica, in cui gli ambienti palustri del lago\u00a0sono circondati dal tipico paesaggio carsico formato da lande e zone aride. Dal Centro visite del Lago di Pietrarossa o da quello di Gradina partono diversi sentieri, ad anello e non, che permettono di raggiungere il lago o passeggiare nella natura Le escursioni principali partono dal Centro visite di Gravina, poco fuori dall&#8217;abitato di Doberd\u00f2, dove si pu\u00f2 lasciare l&#8217;auto. In alternativa si pu\u00f2 parcheggiare presso il Centro visite del Lago di Pietrarossa o presso il ristopub &#8220;Al
