From Savogna d'Isonzo, we will cycle through the karst forests to Monte Brestovec, once a strategic observation point for the Austro-Hungarian army during the First World War. From here, the route will take us to Redipuglia, the largest military shrine in Italy, a place of memory and reflection. The itinerary then continues to Monte San Michele, the scene of bloody battles, where you will have the opportunity to explore the historic gunboat, a silent witness to those dramatic events.
