A circular cultural cycle route to discover the cities of Gorizia and Nova Gorica during GO2025! Points of interest include Gorizia Castle, Piazza Vittoria and the Slovenian border, the entrance to Nova Gorica and Castagnevizza Monastery. Transalpine station, Salkano, an ancient railway bridge rebuilt during the Fascist period and now an engineering masterpiece. Borgo San Mauro on the slopes of Mount Sabotino, then crossing the city of Gorizia towards Piazzale Casa Rossa. An experience also suitable for people who do not cycle frequently.
