Experience something special by booking a visit and wine tasting at the fascinating Colutta Vini estate in Manzano, in the heart of the Colli Orientali del Friuli (D.O.C.). With no less than 22 hectares of picturesque vineyards located in the Manzano, Buttrio and Rosazzo areas, Giorgio Colutta's estate is renowned for producing over 140,000 bottles of high quality wines, which come exclusively from their own vineyards and in-house production. Immersed in the beauty of the Friulian hills, the winery has restored to its former splendour an evocative villa that now houses the modern fermentation cellar, the cellar for the barriques and oak barrels for ageing red wines, the bottling room and a cosy guest flat. Visit the different areas that make up the cellar and listen to interesting historical anecdotes about the place and its evolution over the years. Learn about the history of the winery, the production processes, visit the cellars surrounded by vineyards and savour the authentic taste of Colli Orientali del Friuli. A tasting of various wines will be suggested, including: Ribolla gialla, Friulano, Pinot grigio, Schioppettino and Pignolo. Each wine will be paired and accompanied by bread, cold cuts and cheese, for a special eno-gastronomic experience.
