Description

Following the picturesque trail of the Carnic porters and using snowshoes, we will reach the enchanting Casera Palgrande di Sopra. The hike, which is challenging but rewarding, offers breathtaking views and insights into the technique of using the equipment, enriched with historical and environmental information. Part of the outing will be dedicated to a practical exercise on avalanche self-rescue. The route has an elevation gain of 825 metres and a length of 7.5 kilometres. Meeting point at Laghetti Timau for briefing and departure.
