Snowshoeing on the plateau: from Casera Razzo to Casera Chiansaveit

Location: Sauris
Supplier: Sentieri Sospesi

Description

The Razzo plateau is undoubtedly an iconic location for winter activities. The proposed itinerary involves reaching the picturesque plateau where the Chiansaveit dairy farm stands, crossing gentle ups and downs that offer breathtaking alpine views. Brentoni, Tinisa and Bivera stand as stern guardians of these lands, their harshness contrasting with the gentle pastures covered by a blanket of snow crossed by hikers. Towards Chiansaveit, you are greeted by a charming grove of larch trees still enveloped in winter. These trees, despite their coniferous nature, lose their needles during the winter season. Snowshoeing is therefore an extraordinary opportunity to immerse yourself in spectacular views and fairytale landscapes, in a relatively uncrowded area suspended a stone's throw from the sky.
