An experience suitable for all levels to discover a characteristic and rich corner of Friuli Venezia Giulia from a different perspective. Whether on an e-bike or a traditional muscle bike, cycling through the Karst heath, surrounded by the scents of December, will provide fantastic sensations. The comfort of a two-wheeled vehicle will in fact allow us to explore many more facets offered by this area, compared to a hike on foot: Trenches from the Great War Unique naturalistic aspects Stories of castles and ancient pastures Discovery of the reign of the golden jackal These are just some of the things to discover, hidden among the rocks and plants typical of the plateau. From the monumental area near the Redipuglia Shrine we will move towards the village of San Martino del Carso, the village also mentioned by Giuseppe Ungaretti in his poems, observing the peculiarities of the area. After an excellent lunch, the exploration will continue, amidst history and nature on Mount Brestovec and near Lake Doberdò (a geosite of supranational interest). Near the lake, at Casa Cadorna, there is even a chamois colony! An incredible MTB adventure on the Karst, amidst its nature and history, not to be missed.
