Trekking that will allow participants to take a virtual journey through time, on these mountains that, if today they are a paradise for hikers and mountaineers, just over a century ago were the scene of one of the most dramatic events in the history of mankind. Amidst sheer peaks towards the sky and breathtaking panoramas lie the tremendous vestiges of the Great War. Italian and Austro-Hungarian trenches and fortifications here are only a handful of metres apart, and it is not difficult to imagine the vicissitudes faced by the people who for months battled on these rugged peaks, torn from their often distant homes. The contrast with the beauty of the place will be important food for thought. Between trenches, mountains and horizons, the experience invites us to look at time, historical events and the beauty of nature from a different perspective.
