A journey from the banks of the newborn Piave to the western peak of Mount Chiadin, silhouetted against the blue sky on the border between Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto. A delightful wood, immediately after Pian del Cristo (the excursion's starting point), accompanies the walker's steps along the first part of the ascent to the summit, offering sounds and scents that immediately catapult the walker into the mountain dimension. Soon, as the altitude increases, the forest gives way to meadows and flowers, leaving the view free to run towards the peaks and valleys below, offering a prelude to the magnificent views that can be appreciated from the summit of the mountain. The path winds its way through traverses, hairpin bends and crags until it reaches the summit cross; emotion and joy can finally be released in front of the infinite expanse of the panorama, a stone's throw from heaven. The return will take place along the same route as the ascent.
