About this place
Not far from the famous Cave del Predil, a visit to which is strongly recommended, is a wildly beautiful natural waterfall, known as the “Cave Falls,” as it is formed by 3 consecutive jumps of water.
The total height is nearly 100 meters, and the effect created is that of a water slide.
Given the peculiar shape, it is not surprising that in winter, when the waterfall freezes, it is used as a climbing wall by ice climbers.

Route and landscape
After leaving the car, the beginning of the trail is clearly visible on the left.
It is a dirt road traced through the greenery, which, in a few minutes, leads to the base of the waterfall.
The place is very impressive in all seasons, even in winter when the waterfall is frozen.
After rains, the waterfall swells with water, creating an exceptional spectacle.
The landscape all around is postcard-perfect.
Approach and parking
The waterfall is located in the village of Cave del Predil.
Coming from Tarvisio, drive along the main road.
After passing the center, at the end of the straight road, turn left into the paved side road and continue for about a hundred meters.
Park freely and continue on foot.
The waterfall is clearly visible from the beginning of the trail.
